Who taught you to cook? There are often many people responsible for shaping your ability to whip up a meal--a mom, a great aunt, your grandfather. A person, besides my mother, who I would add to the list is Jane Snow. Back in the day when you couldn't just turn to google for a new recipe, we consulted the newspaper. Jane was a food writer for many years. Her award winning work has been published nationally. Many of our favorite family recipes are those we cut out from her column. Many years ago, I got the pleasure of meeting Jane and she put one of my own favorite recipes in the paper. I met up with her again at the Buckeye Book Fair. She was promoting her new book, Jane Snow Cooks: Spirited Recipes and Stories
